Man, that's a fantastic idea, I'm tempted to ...appropriate (as opposed to steal) it. Maybe i'll do the back cover and we can have like, a partnership thing going on. I'm enamoured with the artwork for this album ... I never thought of re-creating it - and my Pappy got a book about it for Christmas with a chapter on all the drawing techniques and things. Magic - you've given me a new project, thank-you

So what other music are you into? What do you think of On Avery Island? The Mountain Goats just played here, and they were fantastic ... if you don't know who they are, no matter ... maybe you should look into them They brought out an album last year called The Sunset Tree which was pretty fantastic, but some of their earlier stuff is very NMHish. I think they're friends with The Olivia Tremor Control, so they've got that whole Elephant Six Collective thing going on. Yeah.
Anyway. Congratulations on your rendition, it made my day happy - tell me if you attempt the back cover also and then I won't bother ... but will instead come and have a gease at yours. Thank-you for your time.

I thank you for your outstandingly friendly and indepth comment. I am glad I aided in inspiring you towards a new art project, and can say that I did enjoy On Avery Island, more than Invent Yourself A Shortcake anyhow. I do quite like the Elephant Six lineup, even though I rarely have time to discover new music, and less time to listen to it (which means that, no, I have not heard The Mountain Goats, and yes, will look into them, thank you). My musical tastes range from Godspeed! YBE, to Buckminster Fuzeboard, to Mr. Bungle, to Broken Social Scene, Zubot and Dawson, Neil Young, The Velvet Underground and most everything they encompass.

And a happy Easter to you to, I, unfortunatly, will be at work for the entirety of my painted egg and small, furry mammal oriented holiday.
